Day 7: More visiting

Weather: dangerously windy, but sunny
Kids: Both

Today we had lunch at a friend's house which neatly dealt with the middle of the day.  The children just mucked around this morning, not doing much until it was time to leave. 

I forgot how much they enjoy playdough until we visited my friend's place.  When we got home we made yellow, strawberry scented dough with red glitter.  The children played with this with minimal bickering for nearly an hour!

Some friends gave me a dolls house this afternoon......I'll give it a good clean out tonight (it used to belong to a creche and was an outside toy) and then tomorrow pick up a couple of toys to go in there.  I'm thinking of non-traditional families, definitely not European looking at any rate.

Morning:

Afternoon:

• Playdough (including helping to make it).
• Waterplay

Day 6: BBQ

The big gloopy puddle didn't dissolve overnight, nor has it disappeared two days later.  I'm going to have to use hot water I think.

Today we were at a BBQ all day so the children didn't need entertaining - they played with their friends.  It was lovely.
